About

Built for the joy of making websites.

Essepage is a browser-based website builder where you can write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, preview your changes, and publish your website—all in one place.

No local setup, no separate hosting. Just open your browser and start creating.

Why I built Essepage

I've always liked the idea of having a little space of my own on the web—a place to share things I've made, experiment with ideas, or simply create something for fun.

In the early days of the web, you could write a few lines of HTML, upload a file, and have your own website. It wasn't always pretty or perfect, but it was yours. Today, we have more powerful tools than ever, yet creating a simple website can sometimes feel more complicated than it needs to be.

I wanted to bring back some of that simplicity without giving up the possibilities of modern web development. That's why I started building Essepage.

Make something of your own

You don't need a big project or a detailed plan to get started. Maybe you want to make a personal homepage, share something you've created, or try out an idea you've been thinking about.

Start with a blank page, choose a template, or simply experiment. You can keep things simple or build something more ambitious as your ideas grow. Essepage gives you a place to explore your ideas, make changes, and see where they take you.

The web is more interesting when we share

One of my favorite things about the web is discovering what other people have made. Sometimes, a small personal website can be more interesting than a beautifully polished commercial one because it reflects someone's personality, curiosity, and creativity.

I believe we can learn a lot from each other's work. With Essepage, you can explore websites made by others, look at how they're built, and learn from their code. You can also share your own work and inspire someone else to create something new.

It's not just about publishing websites, but also about enjoying the process of making them.

Still a work in progress

Essepage is an independent project that I'm building and improving one step at a time. There are still many things I'd like to add, and I'm sure there's plenty I haven't thought of yet.

I hope Essepage can become a welcoming place for people who enjoy making things on the web, whether they're just getting started or have been writing code for years. If you have an idea, a suggestion, or just want to say hello, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you'll give Essepage a try.
